In Deepest Sympathy

The loss that you have suffered is much too much to bear
Without a kind and loving word from those who truly care

The pain and grief you're dealing with may leave you sad and weak
Please know your peace and comfort in this time our prayers do seek

As you reflect on times that passed and try to carry on
We sympathize and share your pain, please know you're not alone

The torch of life you carry now burns brighter than before
Christopher passed his flame to you to walk through Heaven's door

The time we have with loved ones is used up in a flash
The days we spend with out them seem to last and last and last

Only one thing lasts forever-that's eternity my friend
And though we part our ways through life we will meet up again

To be rejoined with loved ones with no more tears or pain
One by one we will become a family again

That is the hope we cling to, a promise surely kept
Our new abode the Heavenlies - we'll forget the tears we wept

Right now while we are living we're blessed with every breath
We must try to remember life has not value without death

Though death may leave us bitter, don't over look the treasure
Christopher left behind for you, too valuable to measure

All the happy memories and love that never dies
Tuck them safe inside your heart-they'll be the sparkle in your eyes

Until our time does come take courage and be strong
We will all be together as one again -it really won't be long.
